broken image

Guided by Christian principles, World Vision serves disadvantaged individuals in need while sharing the hopeful message of Jesus Christ. A humanitarian organization, World Vision operates programs in nearly 100 countries, such as Hope for Honduran Families.

World Vision's Hope for Honduran Families program aims to cultivate hope for people in Honduras. Honduranian rural communities face challenges like lack of clean water and economic opportunities, economic instability, natural disasters, violence, and poverty.

The Hope for Honduran Families program addresses the root causes of poverty. It hopes to provide clean water to 650,000 people by 2027 and support thousands of farmers in improving their livelihoods and attaining food security. The organization prioritizes Christian discipleship, protection, and education through the work of over 400 local staff members spread across all 18 departments and partnerships with more than 1,000 churches. World Vision also aims to equip young people with the skills necessary for employment and to reduce violence in communities by working with parents, children, and youth.
