Codilis & Associates is a Burr Ridge, Illinois, law firm, that focuses on multiple areas of real estate law. A number of the attorneys working at Codilis are affiliated with the global law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta.

Phi Alpha Delta (P.A.D.) is the dedicated to supporting law professionals, students, schools, and the wider community, to encourage professionalism, diversity, integrity, and innovation. Volunteering is a key aspect of Phi Alpha Delta, which and offers the following opportunities.

Alumni Advisor

Alumni Advisors collaborate with the Law Chapter leadership to design professional networking opportunities. They are tasked with multiple duties, including nurturing relationships with both local and national alumni, assisting in the recruitment of new members, and advising on leadership issues. P.A.D. law alumni in any chapter qualify to be Alumni Advisors.

Advisory Councils

Volunteers drawn from various fields can serve on different bodies, such as the International Advisory Council, which expands global outreach and collaboration with other international legal firms. The Law School Advisory Council gives volunteers a chance to engage in chapter-to-chapter mentoring, officer training and online programming, as well as chapter restructuring/revamping. Other P.A.D. groups include the District Justice Advisory Council and the Pre-Law Advisory Council.

Diversity Equity and Inclusion Council

This opportunity allows volunteers to work together with their peers to foster P.A.D.’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) agenda in order to boost the organization’s core values.
